Aftercare: Keep Your Nails Looking Gorgeous!

Now that your press ons are on, let’s make sure they stay stunning for as long as possible. Treat your nails like the jewels they are!

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!

Your press ons will love a little moisture, just like your skin does.

• Apply cuticle oil daily to keep the nail bed nourished and prevent any lifting around the edges.
• Hand cream is your best friend! Hydrate your hands and nails regularly to keep them soft and smooth.
• Try to avoid drying activities like frequent hand washing or exposure to hot water for long periods of time.

Keep Them Clean (But Gentle!)

Your press ons are tough, but they don’t love harsh chemicals!

• Gentle cleaning with mild soap and water is the way to go. Avoid using harsh cleaning products, as they may weaken the adhesive.
• Avoid acetone or nail polish remover on the press on nails themselves - it can cause damage and affect their lifespan.

Avoid Using Your Nails as Tools!

Remember: Your nails are jewels, not tools!

• Try not to use your press ons to open cans, peel off stickers or scrape things off surfaces.
• It’s best to use your fingertips or other tools for tasks, your press ons will thank you.

Keep It Gentle!

Your press ons love to be treated gently:

• Avoid heavy impact - don’t bang your nails or put too much pressure on them.
• If you’re doing any workout (especially intense reformer Pilates!), be mindful of how your nails feel and avoid any strain.

Protect the Edges

Keep those edges looking sharp!

• If you notice any edges starting to lift or get damaged, consider adding a touch of extra adhesive to ensure they stay in place.
• Keep an eye on your nails - if you see any signs of lifting, treat them with extra care to avoid them falling off prematurely.
