Press Ons Aren’t What They Used to Be
Press ons aren’t what they used to be.
And honestly, that’s the whole point.
For a long time, press on nails had a reputation. Thick, plastic looking, one wear wonders that popped off the second real life showed up. If you tried them years ago and swore them off, that reaction made sense.
But the version you remember doesn’t exist anymore.
Modern press ons are thinner, more flexible and designed to move with you. They’re made to be worn, removed and worn again. They’re not about perfection for one night. They’re about ease, value and feeling put together in the middle of everyday life.
And that’s exactly why I created Peony & Pink.
I’m not interested in nails that only work when life is quiet. I wanted something that could handle school holidays, birthdays, errands, typing, dishes and everything else that fills a normal week. Nails that look good without asking for constant attention.
This week alone, I’ve been wearing Soft Peony for over a week, applied with adhesive tabs and they’re still secure on every finger. No lifting, no fuss. Just doing what they’re meant to do.
That idea extends beyond nails.
This New Year, I’m not reinventing anything. I’m continuing something I care deeply about, building it slowly, intentionally and around real life. That’s what longevity looks like to me.
Press ons have evolved.
And so has the way we build beauty into our lives.
Not louder. Just better.
